Sick and tired of the frequent angry and vicious attacks on his family including his pregnant wife, Eric Trump decided to fight back.
On an interview with Maria Bartiromo which is set to air this Sunday, he mentioned all the hostile comments he receives daily on social media.
“My wife [Lara] is seven months pregnant. If you saw some of the comments she receives from people. I can’t even say them on the air they’re so ghastly. … There are no borders for these people,” he stated.
He mentioned that he is not the only one in the Trump family that gets this kind of treatment. His sister Tiffany and 11-year-old Barron are also attacked on social media, but he won’t let them “roll off [his] back” at the end of the day.
This is not only the people fault, the most part is the celebrities who are responsible for promoting violence and hate speech. The most recent example is Johnny Depp, when he addressed the public by saying, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president? … It has been a while” at an event in England.
It clear that Depp was talking about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth back in 1865.
Gayle Trotter and Neil Cavuto talked about these comments, and the two of them established that the “unhinged” comments may cause a change of opinions and have the opposite effect on people.
“It’s sick,” Cavuto stated, continuing that there supposed to be a line that mustn’t be crossed.
